BarCamp the world!

I thought it'd be interesting to do a quick search for other BarCamps that will also be taking place in October, and as you can see below, we're not alone!

BarCampCHS is very much a local, non-profit event, organized by volunteers in the Charleston community, and attended by more than 250 of the areas most innovative and creative individuals who are eager to come together in order to learn and share knowledge in an open environment.

In this sense of collaboration and of community, they're not alone.

That's because BarCamp is a global movement, a new way of learning and working together on a variety of topics using the latest in technology. A BarCamp takes place somewhere around the world each and every weekend, and since 2004, BarCamp has spread to every part of the globe - from Bishkek to Boise, Cameroon to Charleston - more and more people are learning about this unconference and starting one in their own backyard.
