I am so fired up about BarcampCHS..

My first web project was in 1983 at the College of Charleston. We used SSH on a Commodore 64 and a local BBS to transmit the code for our app built in BASIC (I am looking for a Geek Certified badge).

In the late 90's I was blessed and able to live my dream by going on tour with a rock band. While doing so, I was introduced to several webmaster for a couple of start up bands called Days of the New, Tantric and Linkin Park. It was here that I was introduced to rich media and how it could be integrated with the web to produce sticky content. Did you know that both Tantric and Linkin Park launched their own independant street teams when they dropped their debut albums? It was through these bands I discovered the power of OS and how to leverage it across the Internet.

VIVA Apache!!!!

I was raised on MS-DOS 3.1 and I believe that the way to freedom is through Open Source.

Long live Open Source.

First off, I am SO VERY excited about BarCampCHS! This has been a longtime coming to the Charleston area indeed!

I currently work for Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as a Lead Systems Integration Analyst where I support a content management and collaboration project using Drupal CMS.

My responsibilities include the management and operations of my software test team, performing developmental testing, reviewing and analyzing system requirements, writing test plans, test reports, executive summaries, and managing the operations of the help desk for my project.
