Intro to Augmented Reality

I would like a session about AR basics: do you call the pixel thing a marker or a target?  Do we still need those?  Can you do animated graphics?  Can you do static?  Does it matter?  Can they be interactive?

Anyone in Charleston know the answers and can talk about it?
