Description: 

The recent increases in mobile processing and Javascript engine speeds have paved the way for new 3D experiences on the web.  From Flash-based technologies such as Papervision to the upcoming WebGL standard, a wealth of new tools and ideas are going to be available to designers.  This seminar sets out to explore these technologies.

Glad you like the idea, Calvin.  WebGL has worked its way into the WebKit tree.  I'm building it now and hope to be playing with it soon.  Try to encourage some others to like this session--I think it could be alot of fun.

I'm definitely excited about this sesh proposal! on a somewhat related note (3d/geoposition) i'm interested in augmented reality layers with mobile, rfid...and the future of these integrations into gps enabled devices.
