Agile Development (XP & SCRUM)

Proposal:
I am willing to present on this topic.
Category:
Programming
Experience level:
Advanced
Description:

I'm often finding our requirements change a lot during the development process and we have a small shop....I've heard so much about this methodology and have read up a little bit and would like to learn from someone who is already using it.

I like the idea of a 'tag-team' approach of extreme programming and definitely like pigs and chickens and the iterative nature of SCRUM :)

Do we have to stand during the presentation? ;o)

Well, that may be the only way a proper 'stand-up' can be demonstrated. ;-)

We switched to Scrum for our last product release (with much success) and are continuing on with it for our next release (and the foreseeable future).

While far from an expert, I've done a good bit of reading on it and have been using it for a while now, so I'd be willing to talk about this if there's enough interest and no one with more experience steps up.

I work for the same company as James and, if no one else with more experience offers to present, I'd love to throw my hat in the ring.

James, I think it would be cool to present from the perspectives of design and dev.  Making the transition from waterfall to scrum might be interesting, too. Would you be interested in collaborating if this is a go?

That's great, I think this qualifies as volunteering to present this session :) Hmm, haven't thought about what to do when that happens! We can always change the author to one of you, so that you'll be able to change the proposal to "I am willing to present" and edit the title/description, etc.
