SSH and UNIX command line for website builders

When you start learning web apps, it's inevitable that you have to do things like connect via SSH (like puTTy) and run commands like wget, rm, and tar -xvzf, especially if you're going to install a content management system. For beginners, it's like learning a whole new, cryptic language. I will attempt to introduce people to some of the more commonly used and useful commands, because as good as GUI programs might be, there are still some things that are a lot easier and faster to do from the command line.
