Understanding and Configuring Your Server

Description:
Being that I'm a geek, public speaking isn't quite my thing, but I'd love to see a session on configuring and understanding your server. I know from clients I've worked with that people assume that $5 per month server is going to allow them to handle millions of pageviews, but we all know this is not the case. It'd be nice to see an introduction to people on caching, bandwidth, CPU cycles, etc.

I manage hosted servers as well as dedicated servers for most of my clients. I am fairly well-versed in server management, but don't consider myself to be an expert in any way. That being said, I would be willing to lead a discussion on this and in the least give some tips and general how-to's based on my knowledge in managing servers and apps for my clients.
