The rehava real estate store opened in July of 2008 with the goal of providing consumers with the best real estate experience in the industry by focusing on the client rather than the agent. Based on prior experience of management, the goal was to reinvent the way homes are bought and sold.
The competing brokerage firm model utilizes large numbers of independent agents who compete with each other and have little financial incentive to serve the long-term goals of the brokerage company. Access to local real estate market data has previously been difficult for consumers to obtain as a result of brokerage firms controlling and adopting restrictive policies on the use of data from the Multiple Listing System (“MLS”). As a result of the U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”) opening up the MLS information monopolyin recent years, it is now possible to start transforming the residential real estate brokerage model.
Once the first critical step of obtaining access to the MLS was reached with the assistance of DOJ, it is now possible to use the internet not only to provide this previously restricted information directly to consumers but to use this as a means of better serving large volumes customers at a lower per transaction cost. A critical issue in expanding the market presence of rehava has been to provide a better customer satisfaction experience than the traditional real estate brokerage independent agent sales model. By employing agents as employees, rehava is able to monitor customer satisfaction and quickly and efficiently respond to customer needs. The rehava real estate store will transform the residential real estate brokerage market by combining customer satisfaction, harnessing internet synergies and rewarding clients with a return of 50% of the traditional real estate commission.
